SunCheck Family is designed to work without an account. The app keeps its
people and timer data on your iPhone and does not send that data to the
developer. The app contains no advertising, tracking, or analytics SDKs.
Information stored on your device
SunCheck Family stores only the information needed to provide its people and
timer features:
- a first name or nickname that you enter;
- the icon and color you select;
- whether a person is saved or just for today;
- a random identifier created on the device;
- active outdoor-session times and timer state, including reapplication,
activity-due, and snooze state; and
- app preferences, including notification wording.
The app uses this information to display people and timers, restore an active
session, and schedule local notifications.
Information the app does not collect
The app does not ask for or transmit:
- an account or sign-in;
- an advertising identifier or tracking data;
- location, contacts, or photos;
- age or birth date;
- medical, skin, or health information;
- retained outing history after a session ends; or
- app analytics or third-party crash reports.
