Family Adventure Passport is a parent-guided app for creating family adventure quests and saving local passport memories.

This policy describes the current iOS app version 1.0.

Summary

Family Adventure Passport does not require an account, does not include advertising, and does not include third-party analytics. The current app does not operate a developer server that collects app data.

Most app data stays on the device, including family profile choices, quest history, passport memories, ratings, notes, and optional selected passport photos.

Information You Enter In The App

The app may store the following information locally on your device:

This information is used to help suggest quests, save local passport memories, and display your saved activity history.

Location

If you choose current-location discovery, the app asks for when-in-use location permission. Location is used to find nearby family adventure options. You can deny location access and still use other app flows, such as choosing a known place or using at-home/nearby suggestions.

The app uses Apple location and map services for location lookup, geocoding, and local place search. Apple’s handling of information through its services is governed by Apple’s privacy practices.

Photos

If you choose to attach a passport photo, the app opens the iOS photo picker and lets you select an image. When possible, the selected image is copied into the app’s local storage on your device for display in the passport memory. The app does not upload selected photos to a developer server.

Photo attachment is optional.
